Omarchy Calendar
Privacy policy
Effective September 9, 2026. This policy covers the personal Omarchy Calendar integration operated by Gijs Vanderhoydonk.
Information accessed and purpose
The integration uses Google OAuth to access basic profile information (name, profile picture and email address) and read-only Google Calendar data. Calendar data includes calendar names and event details made available by Google, such as titles, times, locations and meeting links. This access is used for authentication and displaying a local desktop agenda and meeting countdowns.
Storage and sharing
OAuth credentials and cached calendar events are stored on the owner's computer. Refresh credentials are encrypted by Google Workspace CLI; credential and calendar cache files are restricted to the owner's operating-system account. Synchronization communicates with Google. The integration does not upload Google calendar data or OAuth credentials to this website, sell that data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Opening a meeting or event link connects your browser to the selected destination, which is governed by that destination's privacy policy.
Retention and control
The local event cache is refreshed periodically and currently covers approximately seven past days and sixty future days. Credentials remain locally until removed. Access can be revoked through Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access; existing local cache and credential files can be deleted separately. Contact the operator for questions or deletion requests.
